What can you expect from our PAT Testing services?

Get the facts about PAT testing

PAT Testing is the process of testing all electrical appliances both visually and manually to determine if they are fit to use. Our experienced engineers will test:

  • Signs of damage to both the supply cord (IEC lead) and appliance
  • Switch functionality
  • Correct fuse fitting and type
  • Live, Neutral and Earth wire integrity
  • Inspection of the plug and leads

By conducting a thorough examination of all of the relevant factors, we provide you with full documentation to prove that your PAT test was completed properly and effectively – all included in the service!

Our PAT testing ensures you stay legally compliant

The Electricity at Work Regulations 1989 states that: 'any electrical equipment that has the potential to cause injury or harm must be maintained and kept in a safe condition' whilst the Health & Safety at Work Act 1974 also applies to keeping electrical items in a safe condition. We know exactly what is required to ensure your business is fully in line with the Duty of Care imposed on your business, along with the Electricity at Work Regulations and the UK Provision and Use of Work Equipment Regulations.

Our service ensures that you have a programme of testing that tick all the boxes when it comes to being legally compliant with the latest safety regulations, and we'll even provide you with full certification to demonstrate your compliance.
